In 2012, around 6,098.38 KT of ethylbenzene was consumed in Europe, with an anticipated demand growth of about 2.4%, from 2013 to 2018.  Netherlands was the leading consumer of ethylbenzene in the region, consuming about 28.7% of the total regional demand in 2012, with an expected demand growth of about 1.8% during the forecast period.
