Urea formaldehyde resin is a non-transparent, cross-linked thermosetting resin or plastic which is a mixture of urea and formaldehyde. It is produced by condensing urea and formaldehyde in an aqueous solution and keeping ammonia as an alkaline catalyst in the process.
